Content License

Last updated: 27 June 2026

Draft. This is a practical draft, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch.

Unless the product page states otherwise, the following standard licence applies to digital music products purchased on Klangly:

  • Buyers receive a personal licence.
  • The licence is non-exclusive.
  • The licence is non-transferable.
  • Private use is permitted.
  • Use for teaching is permitted only where expressly stated.
  • Commercial use is permitted only where expressly stated.
  • Reselling, uploading to other platforms, file sharing and public distribution are prohibited.
  • Edits may only be made for private practice purposes.
  • Presets and impulse responses may be used in your own music productions, but not resold as a preset pack.
  • Backing tracks may not be resold as your own tracks, Content-ID material or stock audio.

Where a product page specifies a broader or different licence (for example an explicit commercial or teaching licence), that licence takes precedence over this default.
